The Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F is a half-day course that has been designed to equip people with the knowledge and skills needed to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in either Forestry, Agricultural, or remote environments. From this course, delegates will learn how to treat injuries and diseases such as Lyme disease and Catastrophic bleeding. The Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F course is a nationally recognised qualification and is a regulated course. This course is designed to accompany a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work or a Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification, as this nationally recognised qualification has been specifically developed to meet the recommendations of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.
This course meets Forestry Commission recommendations.
The course is ideal for those who work or intend to work in forestry, agricultural or remote environments, such as tree surgeons, civil engineers, and farmers. It is suitable for those working in a high-risk environment, and for these types of environments, we would recommend completing a Level 3 First Aid at Work course to cover all the possible First Aid emergency situations.
During this half-day course, there will be a range of learning styles incorporated to maximise your learning experience. There will be a multiple-choice examination at the end of the course to test your knowledge. Upon successful completion of the course, each delegate will have the knowledge, confidence, and certification to treat a range of injuries and diseases in forestry, agricultural, and remote environments.
The certificate is valid for 3 years, and after this, you will then need to update and refresh your knowledge by retaking the Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F.
